The project is based on the movie “The seventh seal” for the Swedish director Ingmar Bergman. The movie represents several aspects of waiting for death, in the form of fear, dare, denial, and others…

The installation deals with the concept of waiting for death, and summarizes the details of the despair associated with it, using Sand, a material that has its own connotations to both death and creation.

A single line of pouring sand continues- like a cropped imaginary hourglass- representing “the wait”.. Amplifying time, and placing the audience in a physical continuous presence of it..
